## Using the site and app

The website uses semantic headings and links, a keyboard-visible skip link, visible focus indicators, responsive layouts and reduced-motion styling. The product film plays when you choose, with sound, English captions and a [separate transcript](https://nijidiary.com/demo-transcript).

In the app, touch and typing remain available alongside voice. Controls have accessible names and selected or disabled states. Diary’s screen guidance reads the current rendered controls rather than a separate list of imagined buttons.

## Known limitations

The landing page and app controls are currently in English. Voice language support does not imply translated controls or equal recognition accuracy for every language, accent or background-noise condition. Captions and the film transcript are in English; no separate audio-description or signed-language track is included.

Automated checks do not replace testing with people who use assistive technology. We do not claim an independent WCAG certification. Screen-reader, switch-control, large-text and voice-control behavior can vary by device and operating system.

## Tell us about a barrier

Email [support@nijidiary.com](mailto:support@nijidiary.com) with “Accessibility” in the subject. Include the page or screen, the action you tried, the barrier, and your device or assistive technology if relevant. Do not include a diagnosis, recovery code or private diary records.
