Delete your online account

In Niji Diary, open Settings → Account & deletion. Verify access with a passkey or a one-time link sent to your verified email, review the consequences, and confirm the deletion request. The receipt shows whether the request is queued, processing or complete. If you cannot access the app, email support@nijidiary.com for help verifying and submitting your request.

The request covers service-held account and related records. Your encrypted local diary remains on each device. Minimum purchase, unused-credit, refund, fraud-prevention and legally required financial records may be retained where needed to honor obligations. The receipt lists the status and retained categories; queued does not mean deletion is complete.

Delete a local vault

  1. Export an encrypted copy first if you need one, and keep its recovery code separately.
  2. Open Settings in the app or browser that holds the vault.
  3. Choose Permanently delete this vault, read the confirmation and type the requested word before confirming.
  4. Remove any separate exports, downloads, device backups or copies on another device yourself.

If reminder delivery cannot be disabled safely, the app keeps the vault so you can retry. Niji cannot remotely inspect, recover or delete a vault that exists only on your device.

Browser vaults

Your browser vault remains at the origin where you created it. Visiting nijidiary.com does not move or erase that vault. Clearing site data can be irreversible.

Subscriptions, reports and other copies

Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings. Store providers retain their records under their own obligations. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your local diary.

Use the report receipt controls to remove an AI report while its access receipt remains valid, or contact support. Report content and attachments expire after 7 days and report status after 30 days. Removing access to a shared space cannot erase a copy that another participant has already received.
